[link] Inspired by this song completely. When I heard it I pictured a very splashy beach scene in my head. I love when that happens! Accidental inspiration. ~/o/

Tavi doesn't like the beach water so Tairu is the taxi apparently... good thing he's light.

I pretty much see him saying something with an innuendo in it regarding his pink floating noodle to Maya just to fish out a reaction (which I usually do IRL anyways to Meg muahahaha... *spongebob face*). Maya seems to plotting something — perhaps a swift splash to the face or a beech ball beating.

This took a while, the background initially took 1.5 hours but I fine tuned it a lot and added tiny little details. The foreground which I ended up doing last took the longest, I think I'm getting slower with line-art somehow.

Anyways, took a day and some on and off. It makes me want to swim! Listen to that link while viewing the pic, I tailored it to be fun and bouncy like the song. Hopefully I did it justice.

ah, summer. this is the time we teens get to take a break from middle school and start worrying about high school next year but then get caught up in the whole corpus christi looking so freaking enjoyable in the texas heat. thinking to go swimmin'.

when i first see this i have to stop and really look. its just so clear now O_o its as if you found a way to display your art in HD when i hear the music in the bg with this picture i started to

and thought ANIME!!!!!!!!! like in the 70's when people got crazy with color and i can see the freeze frame with something popping out and with a polkadot background ya know? hope it all makes sense...well it does in my head and thats all that matters. all that YOU need to know is that yes, justice has been served (pun intended. ya know, like in volleyball, cuz of the background *shot*)
