This is what happens when I don't have PS ...o_O weird isn't it lol. (Download to see it full res)

I decided to do a group photo before I send some of them off in the mail. Some of em will not be in my possession in the future. The W.I.P is a new decoration for my car, I hang em' from the rear view mirror [link] like so. Ahhh... I'm gonna miss em xD

I color with prismacolor and copic markers. Only recently have I purchased the copic markres and from what I've seen they're not terribly different. The way they handle is somewhat different but the end result is near the same for me. I don't have a preference, but if I had to choose one thing about them it's the copic... because they don't ROLL away XD so many markers have fell to the floor. I should also point out that I'm really impressed with how copic blacks look, you can see from Tairu's (the panda) arm lower right and Chums (the shark) top right that the blacks are noticeably deeper in Chum's hair.

I ink with steadler pigment liner. You can find them at any store that sells lots of pens. I use a 0.5 mechanical pencil to sketch with and a regular white eraser (also steadler, its a good brand).

I use Strathmore bristle paper to draw on, it's quite thick so it suits paper children well and holds marker ink nicely without much bleeding.

And I use regular scissors to cut em out. Those are all the tools I use, in case anyone was curious :3

Anywho, have some art. I tried to take good-ish photos but it's better then a scanner which ruins the colors. What you see here is pretty accurate color-wise.

Tips! Uh, one tip I know for sure is if you have the right paper (get card stock or Strathmore Bristol paper) you can make the color darker by re-colouring the spot again and again. It's good for shading with just one marker! You can add darker tones and blend it in with a lighter tone as well (not too light though) 8D
