Ponyo: Contest Entry

Something I did for fun today. A contest entry for [link] I used one of the resource images for the background. I really wanted to draw the character herself so I tried to emulate the style.

Hope it does ok! I didn't really intend to do it but I'm a huge sucker for Ghibli films.

The goal was to be simple about it and I thought the little bubble and the deep blue background were pretty symbolic for this film.
