Sadly i don't own any of them, but i've played Tales of the Abyss, and i recently fought just the final boss on Tales of Symphonia (i was playing with my friend on her file. she's beaten it a bunch of times. xP).
i should have. i made a dumb choice trying to buy things straight from the shelf. oh well, atleast i gained NMH2 & scribblenauts out of it too. i feel... kinda dirty for buying that other game (nothing but a shameless DS port) >:C
Symphonia was my first, and I played the game all the way to the near-end by renting it a few times.... and then i got it for my birthday and only had like 20 minutes left of gameplay before beating it x"D SO WORTH IT?
I have also played Abyss, but, never got too far in it. I want to play through that one though so bad D": I'll buy it at some point~
I tired. Symphonia. But I got through about an hour and an half of it, and I just couldn't stand the cliche, simple story, weird battle system, uninteresting enemies, annoying characters, and most of all the even more annoying voice overs.
That's a harsh judgement though, I hardly played enough to give a fair assessment. And I heard that the story gets a LOT better and that the characters do develop. But I had borrowed the game, and it was one of my friends favorites, so i just gave it back. XD I might give it another chance someday.
