I prefer console gaming on handmade portables XD.

A mix of both, but as I'm a very busy person irl, I tend to lean more towards handheld gaming, as it's portable and I can entertain myself during long drives (since I'm never the one driving xD) and anything else that might be boring otherwise.

*hugs DS* I go with my trusty handheld...only play my friends' consoles every once in a while

i can only say console, since no one lets me touch their precious hand-helds
plus, i have a DS emulator, not playing a game because i don't have the console is not an excuse anymore

Wait..isn't console gaming just a tad same as handheld? o.o But I enjoy both, sadly I would be playing more handheld if I found my charging cord to my DS Lite. But until I find it, Skyrim for the 360 should keep me busy in the mean time. ; o;

Handheld. It's cheaper than a console in all instances, can be played anywhere you want, and doesn't need a pimped TV, sound system or anything expensive on the side to be played properly
